This centrally air-conditioned space houses a large and rich collection of fiction & non-fiction books and periodicals from Indian as well as foreign publishers. There is also a dedicated story telling area to encourage younger students to visit the library and hone their listening, comprehension, and observational skills while enjoying their favourite stories being narrated.
'Reading adds newer dimensions to the body of knowledge'. We at DPS Gurugram, believe in inculcating a reading culture that enhances and compliments the education system. Books that capture the imagination of students, reconfirm their facts and open newer doors of intellect are carefully chosen and made available to the students. We have some avid readers here who have even become a part of the Book Club, that’s an offshoot of healthy reading.

Reference Books and Magazines keep the students abreast with all that’s happening around. Students are encouraged to give their suggestion about the kind of books they would like in the library, and our librarians do their bit to carry their suggestions further.
The Mathematics club has been created with an objective to explore maths beyond textbooks and apply it in day-to-day situations. Various brainstorming activities like solving mathematical riddles, application based games and making mathematical models are conducted to elucidate difficult concepts of curriculum and sharpen the minds of children.
In this technological period, the computer laboratory at Delhi Public School, provide an appropriate platform to the students to be proficient in handling technology. The computer laboratory is used not just to hone the skills of computer geeks, but also provide an exposure to the novices.
All experiments are carried out under the guidance of expert faculty and skilled lab assistants. Pendulums, spring weighing machines and tongs can be seen in continuous use at the physics lab that is well equipped to satisfy curious minds of scientists in making.
Popping sounds, coloured fumes and the regular pungent smell is the order of the day in the well-equipped chemistry lab where the students experiment with various chemical reactions.
Equipped with contemporary scientific apparatus, models and conserved specimens the Biology Lab is ideal for visual and practical understanding of theoretical concepts of curriculum.
The quality of the language proficiency will be more when students learn it from the multimedia, digital and computerised language lab. The digital lab motivates student's learning attitude, providing an interactive learning environment.
Based on the pedagogy given by Dr. Maria Montessori,our Montessori lab provides space to focus on the individual children and their needs.
Play ground is a different tool of education altogether. Besides the game it teaches team spirit, determination, focus and management. Above all it imparts the winning spirit. For all these reasons and more - “All work along with lots of play” is the school mantra as far as sports go.
The students also have access to the school gym. Equipments as per the age and requirements have been installed with fitness being the key motive. In the cardio section we have the stepper, treadmill, exercising cycles, cross trainer and the rowing machine. In the strength training section we have the multi-gym and the free weights. Students are allowed to use these facilities in their PE period under expert supervision.
