Graduates with 60% marks in the final year<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00a0Minimum 50% marks in English at 10 + 2 or 10th level is must.<\/li>\r\n<li>Admission is offered through a CET IMU entrance examination, which is followed by a screening test and a written test.<\/li>\r\n<li>After the clearance of these tests, an interview and a medical test are conducted.<\/li>\r\n<li>Before coming on-board, the aspirant has to undergo a ship-training course.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><strong>Medical fitness<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Medically fit with eyesight 6\/6, without external aids. No colour blindness.<\/li>\r\n<li>Eye sight: Candidates will have to undergo a full Medical Test conducted by DG Approved Doctors only.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><strong>Age<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Not exceeding 25 years as on the date of commencement of training (subject to DG\u2019s guidelines).<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><strong>Responsibilities at the Ship<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>As an officer, you will either work in the deck or engineering department. Exact duties depend on the rank.
