Dear ,

I would like to appeal for you to stand up for my rights to vape. Without your support, over 300,000 vapers would have been pushed back to smoking. As you know, smoking is a death sentence for chronic smokers like myself. I have been smoking for Years and I find vaping helps me Quit. Your support will help me, and thousands of others like me, end their bad tobacco smoking habits, and improve our health and lives.

Our fight for safe, legal smoking alternatives such as nicotine vaping isn’t over and we will continue to push for an appropriate legislative framework on vaping. For now, I seek your help in voting for the legalisation of nicotine vaping in Australia, to save the lives of over 3 million local smokers.

Sincerely,

Dear ,

Writing to beseech your support towards a smoke-free Australia. All around the world, tobacco is rapidly killing lives. As a result, even non-smokers exposed to second-hand smoke are suffering from its repercussions. My Father smokes and for a better quality of life, I wish for them to Cut down on tobacco smoking.

There is overwhelming scientific evidence in favour of a safer smoking alternative, which is nicotine vaping. However, all around Australia, the rights of vapers are under attack. The Department of Health is banning the only alternative to better quality of life, and in order to pass a defacto vaping ban without the need for parliamentary approval, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) passed regulations penalising the importation of nicotine with a fine of up to $220,000. This defacto criminalisation was passed by unelected, nameless, faceless bureaucrats that have undermined your legislative authority.

I implore you to fight for your peoples’ rights to vape.

Sincerely,

Dear ,

I’m writing as a member of the public concerned about the Adverse health impacts of secondhand smoke in Australia and how our present laws continue to prohibit smokers from switching to safer alternatives.

Smoking kills – this goes without saying. Even non-smokers exposed to second-hand smoke are suffering from its repercussions. The most plausible solution for tobacco smokers to reduce harm from themselves and the people around them would be to quit smoking. In a situation where habitual tobacco smokers are unable to instantly give up on tobacco, and may require a longer transitional time, there are proven-effective aids such as nicotine vapes. I have learnt that vaping Is a safer alternative than tobacco smoking. However, vaping is soon to be banned in Australia.

All around the world, vaping has been recommended by public health authorities as a quit-smoking tool. Legalising vaping will save many Australian lives, and it is time for our government to act.

Thank you.
